• In Dallas news… Say it isn’t so! After more than 40 years of swinging thrills, The Conquistador at Six Flags Over Texas has sailed its last voyage. The amusement park has officially retired the ride to make way for a record-breaking dive coaster set to debut in 2026. It’s adiós to a fan favorite—and hola to high-speed history in the making. Evidently, the new coaster will be a “Giga Dive Coaster,” meaning it stands over 300 feet tall. It's expected to break multiple records for Texas and globally.
