This week's edition has interesting development updates, fun things to do (as per usual), and trending pop culture you may have missed!   • 🎤🎹 Audition for Frisco’s Got Talent: Can you sing, dance, play an instrument, or swallow fire? Frisco’s Got Talent is back Feb. 21, followed by the Finale on Feb 22! (We’re kidding about the fire, though. Maybe leave that skill at home.)

  • 🍹🎉 Celebrate National Margarita Day at PGA Frisco: Whether you like your margs frozen or on the rocks, the PGA District has delicious specials this Saturday in celebration of everyone’s favorite refreshing salt-rimmed beverage.

  • 👗💖 Support the Comerica Prom Dress Drive: Help deserving teens who otherwise may not be able to afford formal attire for their high school prom. Drop off new or gently used, clean prom dresses, shoes, and accessories between now and Feb. 28.

  • 🎶🎸 Revisit 90’s rock: Head to the Legacy Box Garden to rock with Ninety 2 Nothin’, a high-energy band covering the best of the 90’s, including Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Soundgarden, and more.

  • 🤸‍♀️🏅 The 2025 WOGA Classic and Valeri Liukin Invitational is back at the Ford Center, welcoming competitive gymnasts from across the United States and beyond. Purchase a day ticket ($35/adult, $25/child), or snag a weekend pass ($80/adult, $55/child) to watch all the tumbling, vaulting, and balance beaming you like from February 21-23.

  • Should your fave maps app fail you, here are the latest road closures that we fully appreciate, yet nonetheless find irritating. In other words, we value better roads and improved traffic flow, but we’ll bi*ch and moan until it’s finished because that’s just how human we all are.

  • You’ve likely heard about the $182 million renovations coming to Toyota Stadium. Expect a striking new roof structure, providing shade for most of the seating bowl (hallelujah!) plus three new club spaces, upgraded entry points, and cutting-edge audio/visual technology to create an immersive experience for fans. But wait, there’s more. Last week, FC Dallas announced plans to develop a fancy office district on the west side of the property. The project will introduce more than one million square feet of premium Class A office space, reinforcing Frisco’s position as a top destination for businesses and professionals.   • Ohio skibidi rizz! If you have a teenager or tweenager in your household, this phrase is familiar. No one over the age of 35 understands why Ohio has became such a thing in the TikTok/YouTube world, but it appears the midwestern state wants its wholesome reputation back. Ohio has some business and statistical cred that kind of vibes with our own here in Frisco. Shout out to The Morning Brew for shedding light on why businesses are flocking to the Buckeye state.

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook recently teased, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” sparking speculation about a new product launch. The leading theory is a next-generation iPhone SE with a larger screen, no home button, Face ID, and a new Apple Intelligence chip. Other possibilities include a new MacBook Air, updated iPad, or a smart home command center. And while it’s unlikely, some are humorously hoping for an Apple Toilet. Whatever it is, Apple has us eagerly awaiting Wednesday’s reveal.

  • TikTok has returned to App stores amid ban uncertainty. The app was reinstated after US Attorney General Pam Bondi assured that the nationwide ban wouldn't be immediately enforced. This means TikTok fans can continue enjoying their favorite content for now. However, the ban, paused by President Trump, still looms and could be enforced later if the app isn't sold to an American company.

If you've driven northbound along the DNT access road anytime over the last 5 years you've seen a sign for "Music Street Frisco Coming 2021." 🤔 Then we heard it was “coming 2023.” It’s probably very complicated from a development/economic POV, but naturally, we’re curious about its status because it sounded cool!
