🛹🎵Frisco Comp Series: Holy Tony Hawk, Frisco! The city is shutting down First Street for skateboarding on April 27! Grab your board and visit the Frisco Rail Yard for skateboarding on special obstacles from Rhythm Skate Shop, live music, food trucks, and a drone show. It’s free to compete and free to spectate!

🏈🎶Dallas Cowboys NFL Draft Day Parties and 5K: Draft Weekend kicks off on Thursday, April 24th-26th with activities at Ford Center and Miller Lite®House at The Star, featuring a kickoff toast from a Dallas Cowboys legend, player autograph signings, performances by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, live music, food, and more! On Saturday, the party finishes with the Dallas Cowboys Draft Day 5K and live coverage of the draft.

🇬🇧🎸British Invasion Night: Head to the PGA District for a smashing evening of British vibes and iconic tunes! From 6:00–8:00 pm, Hard Night’s Day, the renowned Beatles tribute band, will take the stage. Arrive early and enjoy a proper British feast from local favorite food truck Fish and Fizz.

The latest whispers and speculations about exciting local developments, from potential new biz openings to upcoming community projects and events everyone is talking about.

  • Recently, we were thrilled to hear about a new Whole Foods opening at The Mix development, located at the southeast corner of Lebanon and the DNT. However, this news might not have been as exciting for our friends on the east side of town near the McKinney border, who would have to battle traffic to enjoy it. But now, great news East-siders: you're getting your very own, more convenient Whole Foods at the upcoming West Grove development, scheduled to open in 2025 at 380/Custer.

  • The Academy of Country Music and its charitable arm, ACM Lifting Lives, will host a gala in Frisco on May 7 to honor the legendary duo Brooks & Dunn. The "Play Something Country" event will feature performances by Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Keith Urban, and Lainey Wilson. Held on the eve of the 60th ACM Awards in Frisco, proceeds from the gala will support mental health initiatives within the country music industry. Tables and individual tickets are available through [email protected].

  • Can Am Pizza has made its way to Frisco! The Washington state gourmet pizza shop is opening up at Coit and Main.

  • 🗳️Frisco residents have some important decisions to make! With 3 FISD school board seats and 2 City Council seats up for grabs, your vote can make a big difference.
