Rotolo's Craft & Crust in Frisco is the ultimate spot for pizza lovers and beer enthusiasts alike! 🍕🍻 We can’t claim it as our own, because they have locations all around, but it’s certainly a local favorite — particularly amongst FC Dallas fans, who are inclined to park early, grab a bite, and then walk to the game. Their menu is packed with mouthwatering options like the Big Apple Deep Dish, Chicken Alfredo, and the Angry Pig Calzone. 😋 Plus, they've got gluten-free and cauliflower crusts for those looking to keep it light.

  • The Wade Park Time Capsule: Frisco, it looks like the days of driving past our embarrassing blemish are finally over. The Mix is here, ready to turn that infamous hole into a beacon of progress and prosperity. The project broke ground last week (for real this time). • Cheers! Rollertown Beerworks begins construction on its new 50,000-square-foot Frisco brewery this month, aiming to open by October. The new brewery is backed by notable local figures, including Dirk Nowitzki, Michael Young, and Dude Perfect, which recently opened a new headquarters in Frisco. Located at the northeast corner of Main Street and John Elliott Parkway, the venue is expected to host concerts, comedy shows, and sumo wrestling — an attraction that previously drew thousands of attendees to their Celina location.

  • McKinney Takes Flight: Our neighbors are soaring to new heights with a $72 million expansion of McKinney National Airport. The shiny new 45,000-square-foot terminal should be ready to welcome travelers by late 2026. Despite a little turbulence in 2023 when voters said "no" to bond funding, the city is cruising ahead with the project. Some residents are worried about increased traffic and noise—understandable concerns when your neighborhood is about to get a whole lot busier. But here's the exciting part: McKinney is in talks with not one, but two low-cost airlines! Imagine jetting off to your favorite destinations without breaking the bank.

  • Progresso decided to celebrate National Soup Month by reimagining a classic comfort food as a hard candy called Soup Drops. The company launched its first-ever "soup you can suck on," a savory lozenge that captures the taste of the brand’s chicken noodle soup. Yeah, this took us by surprise, too, but evidently, these savory lozenges sold out super fast. Progressive responded, “Well this is souper awkward… don’t worry, there’s a fresh batch of Soup You Can Suck On coming your way next week.”

  • The return of The Traitors for its third season has obsessed fans waiting for Alan Cummings to reveal the next “MURD-uh.” If you thought your family game nights were intense, wait until you see contestants trying to out-scheme each other while pretending to be best friends. It's like Survivor met Big Brother, and they decided to have a trust fall exercise... with no one catching you!

  • Hoard your Ring Pops and Skittles! The FDA banned red dye No. 3 from your food. The dye, which has been adding a pop of bright red to our snacks for the past 50 years, is now a no-go. While the US was cool with it, most other countries gave it a big "nope" ages ago. And now, in just one whirlwind week, our kids have lost two of their greatest loves – TikTok and their beloved red-colored candies!

In Frisco, community service hours are not required for high school graduation. Still, students who complete all requirements of the Community Service Program will be recognized at their graduation ceremony with a colored cord, and will be honored in the graduation program. Meanwhile, community service is often a requirement for certain organizations or clubs, like the National Charity League or Young Men’s Service League, and it’s critical to the college application process.

So, we’ve prepared a run-down of Volunteer Opportunities for Teenagers in Frisco!

Answer to today’s Frisco Trivia: The city was originally called Emerson, but the U.S. Postal Service rejected that name. The residents chose Frisco City in 1904 to honor the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway. Learn more about our humble beginnings here.
